The first and only ESA Business Incubation Centre in Southern Italy
Launched in 2023 at the Cittadella della Ricerca in Brindisi and managed by DTA, it forms part of ESA's European network of business incubation centres, bringing together ESA's international incubation programme, DTA's technical expertise and industrial network, and the region's aerospace capabilities.
The centre supports early-stage companies building space-related technologies, downstream applications, and business models connected to the space economy — guiding them from early-stage innovation to scalable, investment-ready ventures within a specialised ecosystem.
ESA BIC Brindisi is managed by a Team of Professionals with Experience in Aerospace, Innovation, and Startup Support.

ESA BIC Brindisi is part of the ESA Business Incubation Centre Network. Created by the European Space Agency more than 20 years ago, the network now brings together 32 ESA BICs across more than 20 European countries. The ESA BIC Network ranked 6th in Europe — and first among space-focused incubation networks — in the Financial Times list of Europe’s Leading Start-up Hubs.
