Archimede, a startup incubated by ESA BIC Brindisi, has closed a €1.5 million funding round.

This significant achievement confirms the company's growth trajectory and highlights the potential of its technological solutions within the space economy.

The round was led by Primo Capital SGR through its Primo Digital, Primo Digital Parallel Italia and Primo Digital Parallel Sud Italia funds. Infratech, an accelerator of the CDP Venture Capital network, 40Jemz and Irritec also joined the round.

Founded in 2024 by Riccardo Puglisi, Alessandro Basile and Ferdinando Anselmi, Archimede has developed ArchMesh, a modular plug-and-play kit designed for the management and monitoring of critical infrastructure in off-grid environments. ArchMesh integrates predictive energy management, multi-constellation satellite connectivity and a low-code software platform into a single system, enabling bidirectional control of distributed plants and assets even in areas where terrestrial coverage is unavailable or does not provide adequate reliability.

By making the adoption of satellite connectivity, energy management and software automation more accessible, Archimede aims to transform isolated infrastructure into intelligent and monitorable nodes. In this perspective, space technologies become a key enabler for connecting, controlling and optimizing assets located in remote or hard-to-reach environments, contributing to the operational resilience of increasingly distributed industrial and infrastructure value chains.

The solution was developed to address a concrete and growing need: ensuring access to data, control capabilities and operational continuity where traditional energy and connectivity systems cannot be guaranteed. ArchMesh is designed for several application areas, including agriculture, oil & gas, logistics, public infrastructure and defense, integrating remote assets into helping advanced decision-making and management processes.
